bonjour ~
Welcome to the twenties world! I was once told that the twenties are the best years to make an account of precious memories of life, dreams and love–doing so in the most vibrant manner possible.

Should have experience them in KOREA! :(

I am taking way too long trying to complete this blog post, wanted to post it on CNY eve but due to my procrastination it is almost over the 15th day of CNY already.
Have been working in my internship company for nearly 6 weeks, only 25% through this whole thing, and what I look forward to, is every weekend and my internship to end. Usually don’t wish the semester to end so fast so that project deadlines and tests wouldn’t be right at your neck, as though it is strangling you.
Well, I can’t say that there isn’t any benefit while doing internship – a more relaxed life, cause usually bosses doesn’t really tasked jobs that are too important to you (just in case if you screwed it up); but not so much for my case compared to the other interns, when your supervisor is so mean and demanding, wanting to squeeze everything out from you, for that miserable amount of pay.
Wait a minute.
Okay, I think I should stop right here regarding him and his company before my blog become a scary ranting place, and I would be doing self-pity and whole cycle continues again.
So let’s just move on.
Continuing from my previous blog post regarding Korea, this one would be based on what you should try when you are there to consider yourself as been there, done that before & after all “when in Rome do what the Romans do” (based on what I think, hahas) !
Drum roll please for the NO. 1 in the list … (not in any ranking other then the top 5; cause they are the 5 things that I didn’t do when I was in Korea & regret not doing them L )

How can you consider yourself going to Korea, without doing thing in a Korean style! (I heard the older generation still go there quite often but not so much for the younger generation of Koreans, since they got more conscious about their own body?)
So many of the Korean dramas have at least one scene based there, so tell me, what is the better way to experience Korea then to put yourself in the shoe of those characters in the drama J
what to do there then?? Sauna, hot/cold spring! back scrubbing, playing games that allows you to hit your friends on the head using the boiled eggs!!!
drink chilled sikhye (sweet rice drink) [ ZH and I manage to tried them on the street despite not going in, taste texture to the boiled barley drinks in Singapore just that the rice is less chewy compared to barley, the drink is not as thick too ! hahas, just try to share one with your friend! don't be too greedy wanting to get one for yourself ! come on korea have just too much food that you will not want to be full after just 1 ! ]
(aren't they cute ?! tried to photoshoot me and zenghui in but due to my very poor skill, it looks damn scary so let's just use this. hahas)
2. Try live octopus & other raw seafood! 산낙지
one of the more famous location for seafood in Seoul (tourist) is at Norajing seafood area. Remember to learn some basics seafood name, money and most importantly is to bring your guts there too! The pricing there would be slightly more expensive (but careful of being “chopped” – way overpriced) compared to the food that you can get in restaurant.
Stupid me who went to Busan but didn't manage to eat any seafood there !! Where else do you eat seafood other than seaside! But we did went to Haeundae beach !! My hostel was just 10 mins walk away, isn't it great !! (will do one post for jeju and busan together !!)
3. Go to the café with DJ carrying out live radio-talk show
4. Go for a concert (come on, this is the best place to attend the idol concert and is so much cheaper! (M! Countdown Mwave (Hangul: 엠! 카운트다운) for free! but damn long Q and procedure! ) Or go there when you know there is going to be a concert ! last resort, pray that they are going to you UNI, because afte i came back from Yonsei, Infinite Challenge (a.k.a. Muhan Dojeon; Hangul: 무한도전;) members went there for Cheerleading training and was around for the Yonsei-Korea Game :((
5. Go to a ski resort and ski !!! I have never skied in my whole life!! (Well, i went there for summer, so it was impossible to get enough snow at those mountains, but i still went to check those resort website before going hoping that miracle will happen, none of them is opened during summer :((
6. Go to Caribbean Bay!!( partly was cause i didn't really have the guts to wear swimming costume and not enough time and it was really expensive during summer, but the 1st 2 reasons outweighs everything. hahas )
How to get there is similar to Everland just that you take the free shuttle for Caribbean Bay instead of Everland Shuttle Bus?? Or are they sharing the same bus? Sorry couldn't really remember :((
7.Everland
Everland is really huge and almost impossible to cover all the places in one day, so you might need to have some give and take, but I do suggest the animal trail and one of the famous roller coaster, where the steepness is about 70-80 o!!
(i might just die right at the ride, it is so freaking steep!! pic not by me btw :) )
For the animal which you would be on the amphibian truck, there might be a chance for you to feed the animals, if you are the lucky one to be chosen by the zookeeper. (ps: giraffe’s tongue are huge and long when they are grabbing your bread, so don’t get a shock when you are feeding them!! ) The Q for this is damn long when I went there partly might be due to the fact that it is night time, so if you don’t might I think viewing it in the morning might have shorter Q, but not sure if the animals are up yet. Hahas)
Even if you don’t really like exciting rides or animals there are many locations meant for photo shoot as well, so it is really a great place to go! Set aside the whole day for you to have fun there, and the firework show too at the rose garden! Too pretty to give it a miss!
(But do take note of the time to go home if not to take taxi back to Seoul might cost more than your ticket into Everland!) Bring your passport as well as there might be promotion for foreigners!
HOW TO GET THERE: Take the green line (2) to Gangnam station and get out of exit 6 or 7 and walk for approx 10 to 20 mins to a bus stop and board 5002 , the bus ride is about 1 hour??
you will reach a place where there will be free Everland Shuttle bus to bring you in to the actual place! So do prepare about 3 hours travelling time to reach there!! Get up morning to enjoy as much as possible !!
Rmb to ask the Koreans around if needed, because we walked quite a distance before we found it the previous time
8.
(sneak preview of Everland!!)
There are definitely more to do/go but just that I am unable to cover them all in this blog post! So wait for the next one ok ?
Till we meet again!

we live under the same sky
“To put away aimlessness and weakness, and to begin to think with purpose, is to enter the ranks of those strong ones who only recognize failure as one of the pathways to attainment; who make all conditions serve them, and who think strongly, attempt fearlessly, and accomplish masterfully.”
- James Allen Quotes
Sometimes I wonder how people see me and what they think of me. It scares me a bit, honestly. I am sure though, that what they think of me,
what they think my life is, is a complete misconception. I have always tried to show myself as a carefree person, as someone who wont get bothered
because of public judgement. I am sure my friend and family think there is nothing going wrong in my life, that I do not worry enough, that
I am always happy. And I am sure they probably somewhat hate me for it because, lets admit it, there is nothing worse than seeing someone
who is life seems so perfect while yours is a complete mess. Truth is, I have become an expert at pretending. I think we are all experts
or at least we are getting there.
